is published by the Materials Technology Center (MTC) at Southern
Illinois University Carbondale. MTC is a catalyst for innovative
materials-related research at the University. MTC works with SIUC
researches, and provides funds for faculty doing materials-related
research pertinent to the practical needs of society. MTC works closely
with industry sponsors and federal and state agencies. It initiates
interdisciplinary research in engineering and science; provides a range
of support to new and established research programs; and
sponsors
international technical conferences and seminars. the ultimate charter
of MTC is to promote economic groth in the region through the
